I loved Breath of the Wild, hands down my game of last year and I sank triple digits of hours in it. One of the best €60 I spent, period. So now I'm eyeing the Expansion Pass and I was wondering how it relates to the main game in terms of meatiness. I'm not interested in the first pack, but unfortunately you can't buy them separately. So is the second pack (Champions' Ballad) worth it? Does it deepen the world, story and/or characters in a meaningful way? Do you access new areas? How long does it take if you take your time exploring? I also heard there's a new dungeon, how does it relate to a Divine Beast? Any additional shrines etc.?
Jul 07, 2017 Link remains the star of the show. Breath of the Wild ’s first DLC pack, “ The Master Trials,” launched last week. The full expansion pack, which gives access to both DLC packs, costs $19.99. Breath of the Wild’s first big downloadable content dropped last night and it is full of cool items to find. If you’re too important and busy to hunt them down yourself, don’t worry.
Switch owners are sharing all sorts of hilarious clips of the new Champions’ Ballad DLC on social media through the built-in video capture feature. As always, there are some kick ass Breath of the Wild moments, alternative shrine solutions, and a bevy of Hyrule hijinks.
